Here is a snapshot from Zach's joint-party with his friends from Amy's parenting group. The birthday was Olympic in theme and included such contests as the Great Crawl of China (pictured in this video) and the Olympic Ring Eating Contest.

Zach on the Move

With relatives willing and able to keep Zach entertained, Zach has certainly learned how to get around. In the first video, Zach is being pulled around by Mimi at his first birthday.

In the second, he is being pushed in his green space chair by his Uncle Adam ("Otto").

In the third, the green chair becomes a flying saucer thanks to his bionic uncle Aaron (a.k.a Uncle Buck).

Fourth of July in the Neighborhood

This is a video of our little neighborhood's first annual 4th of July BBQ and parade. As you can see, the parade lasted about three minutes as the kids "biked" around the courtyard in front of our house.

Zach's First Trip to the Beach

This is Zachary playing with the sand. What we didn't capture on video was Zachary shuddering everytime he touched the sand during the first couple excursions to the beach.

This is Zach's report about his time at the beach. It is a bit hard to hear him but you will probably understand his stories about the week anyway.

Zach's Friends: "The Golden Piglets"

Here are some of the babies of the moms' group I am happy to be a part of. All babies were born July - September of 2007. As 2007 was the auspicious year of the Golden Piglets according to the Chinese Zodiac, we refer to the group as the "Golden Piglets". I wonder if Zachary actually knows he is waving....?
